According to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 25, 2019 No. 133-F, on November 17, 2019 an International Scientific Conference is held on the topic: “Uzbekistan-China at the New Stage: Development of Cultural-Historical, Scientific and Economic Relations”.
The conference was organized by the Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies and the Uzbek-Chinese Institute named after Konfutsy at TashGIV.
Aims and objectives of the conference:
Exchange of experience in the field of innovations and new developments in the system of science and education in Uzbekistan and China.
Exchange of opinions on the problems of philology, philosophy, history, economics, sociolinguistics, linguistic culturology, theory and practice of translation in the field of Sinology;
To promote the further development of international relations in the scientific sphere between Uzbekistan and China; Study of promising relations between Uzbekistan and China, identifying practical proposals in this area;
Coordination of research work in the field of Sinology;
Professional development of young scientists;
Identification of scientific topics in the field of cooperation on topical issues of Chinese studies, as well as proposals for new scientific projects of international scope;

The conference will be held in the following sections:

  1. Linguistics and innovative teaching methods.
  2. History, philosophy and culture.
  3. Translation studies, literary and source studies.
  4. Economic relations in the framework of the project “One Belt, One Way”.

Conference materials cover the following topics:
  Scientific achievements of the Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies in Chinese linguistics;
 Innovative methods of teaching Chinese;
The current state and development of research on linguocultural and sociolinguistic aspects of the language;
The current state and development of political and economic cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the PRC; Trade and economic relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the PRC;
 Questions on attracting investments of the PRC into the economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan: projects, problems, plans.
 Coverage of the history of Central Asia in Chinese sources;
 Concepts of Confucius and the current state;
 Questions of Chinese philosophy;
 Problems of translating fiction from Chinese into Uzbek / Russian and from Uzbek / Russian into Chinese;

 The impact of economic processes in China on international, including on the states of Central Asia;

 Cooperation issues in the humanitarian and cultural spheres between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the PRC.

Conference materials will be published in a separate collection.

The article should be structured in IMRAD format (Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion and Implication). Introduction, theory, data and methods, results, conclusion.

Requirements for materials:
• Materials for publication must be executed in a text editor Microsoft Office Word (doc extension).
• Page size – A4, Orientation – portrait.
• Fields – all 2 cm.
• Text layout: TimesNewRoman headset, 12 pt size, first line indent 1.25 cm, single line spacing.
• Align text to the width of the page.
• Without setting pages.
• Pages should be no more than 6 pages. One co-author is allowed.
• Page footnotes are not allowed.
• References in the text are made out according to the following pattern: [1, p. 195], [3, p. 20; 7, s. 68], [4].
• The list of references should include all works cited or mentioned in the text of the article.
• In electronic sources, you must specify the address and date of treatment.
• If there are tables, their width should be 10.8 cm, font size in the table should be 10 pt, without indents.
• Name, academic degree, title, title, name of the university, city, country, size 12 pt.
• The title of the article – size 14 pt. bold.
• References are listed in alphabetical order at the end of the article. (12 pt size).
The editorial board reserves the right to reject materials that do not correspond to the subject of the conference and the stated requirements.
 Conference working languages: Uzbek, Russian, Chinese, English.
Scientific articles that meet all requirements will be published in the conference proceedings. A collection of conference materials will be presented on the day of the conference.
Articles are accepted until October 1, 2019.
For participation and publication fee is not charged. Travel and hotel accommodation the organizing committee does not provide.
